moshi monsters introducting ruby scribblez

elloooo! I'm Ruby Scribblez, editor of Shrillboard Magazine and a self-made expert on all things Moshi. I have such an enormous collection of Moshi stuff that I own three of everything ever made. I can spot a bargain a mile away! I'm also a trend-master and Roary has agreed to let me blog a couple times a month right here at The Daily Growl! So, without further ado, welcome to my first ever blog - Ruby's Review!

First, I've just got to tell you some exciting news from the USA. Moshi Monsters figures and plush toys are now in Target and Walmart stores nationwide! Of course, I already own the whole set, but you can purchase one of six plush Monsters, a plush clip-on Backpack Buddy or Moshling figures in packs of one or three. You can also find all sorts of Moshi Monsters toys and games at Toys R Us. That's 6,000 stores total across the USA!

I've been shopping a LOT lately so I've needed some down time. While writing this blog I am relaxing in my new Poppet pyjamas from Target in Australia! If you're in Australia and are looking for Moshi Monsters apparel, Target is THE place for cool new stuff. They've even got Moshi tee shirts!

Australia has certainly been getting some great new Moshi stuff - I mean, even one of their restaurants, Red Rooster, has Moshi toys in their Little Red's Meals! There are 7 awesome toys to collect, and with each meal there's a chance to win a huge bonus prize! One winner will receive 50,000 Rox and a prize package containing a Nintendo DS and more!

That's all from me today - I've got some letters to write - but I'll be back with more of Ruby's Review as soon as Roary forgives me for borrowing his stationary. It was only a few thousand sheets and we do share the same initials after all. Can we say BARGAIN?

Which Moshi item would you like to see in stores next? Leave a comment on this blog and a few of you will win a Random Rox prize!

Keep on Roxin'...

Anyway, Snozzle Wobbleson over at the Gross-ery store has been kind enough to provide a secret code for a FREE Bug Juice. All you have to do is put together the puzzle below.

Slllluuuurp! Deelish. Do you know the name of the wormy looking bug that sits on the rim of the glass? Comment on THIS blog with your best ideas of what you think its name is. A few of you will win a Random Rox prize!

moshi monsters moshlings

The comments have been tallied and thrown into a word cloud so we can see which Moshlings are the favourites. The larger ones, like Jeepers, Pooky, and IGGY are the most popular. To get an even MORE scientific result, I was thinking it'd be a good idea to do a poll, too. What do you think?

The winner of the Nintendo DS from the last Moshling blog is Mckenna5191. Congrats! So anyway, let's find out the official favourite Moshling. Cast your vote over at The Moshi Poll now! When we find out the ultimate favourite Moshling, how do you think we should honour it? Comment on THIS blog with your ideas and a few of you will win a Random Rox prize. Friday's Random Rox winners are zommergirl71, feindish1, and moda3050. Saturday's Random Rox winners are sharky8134, bluepoodle593, and brownieaddict. Sunday's Random Rox winners are bubblysarah123, drashkan, and crazycookies2001.

design a moshling-get your sketch on

Have you ever thought about making a new Moshling? Maybe you've designed a whole set of robots, or pencil sharpeners or even an army of candy canes! Well, there has been something really exciting going on in Monstro City lately - a Design A Moshling Contest - and we've received at least 7,000 entries so far!

Even the Moshi Staffers are trying to get in on the action - check out this Moshling that Spookygirl and Zooberguber made!

Would you like a chance to see your Moshling come to life? One lucky winner will have their design turned into a real Moshling on moshimonsters.com! They'll also get to see their fangtastic creation on the front cover of an upcoming issue of Moshi Monsters Magazine. You can find out more about how to enter the Design A Moshling Contest by clicking here. All entries must be received by February 16th, 2012.

What did you think of Spookygirl and Zooberguber's design? Leave a comment on this video and a few of you will win a Random Rox prize! Yesterday's Random Rox winners are rob141, mmgymnast, and dragonrawr945.

moshi monsters australia day!!!

G'Day MonSTARS! Did you know that tomorrow is Australia Day? Technically it's already tomorrow in Australia. So happy Australia Day, Australian Moshi fans! It's the official national day of Australia. To celebrate, there's an all new item for sale in Monstro City!

Pick up your very own Derek, the wall-mounted partying platypus over at Bizarre Bazaar. It's only 15 Rox and comes complete with Derek's fly friends, Buzz, Fuzz, and Guzz! When he's not hanging around on walls, you can usually find Derek rolling around in garbage. Stinky! Wanna know a secret? I heard that there will be a certain marsupial Moshling coming out later this year. Rooby the Plucky Puncharoo! But shhh! You didn't hear that from me.

Hey, speaking of Moshlings, the official poll results are in. It's another IGGY victory. For the third year in a row, IGGY has been voted the favourite Moshling! But this year White Fang gave IGGY a run for its money, by getting just 8 fewer votes! Unbelievable! Maybe next year it'll be a Musky Husky victory.

Comment on THIS blog and tell me what you think Rooby the Plucky Puncharoo will look like, and a few of you will win a Random Rox prize. Yesterday's Random Rox winners are boofle99, candy2881, and ingie11.

moshi monsters board games

Tyra just beat me at Moshnopoly for the 22nd time! Sometimes I just hate playing by the rules, although I know they are important to any game. Of course, I won't try and cheat because it wouldn't be as fun to win if I didn't follow the rules. Board games are kind of like the internet. You need guidelines for both in order for everybody to have a good time.

Safer Internet Day is coming up on 7th February, and I thought it'd be a great time to make some Moshi Board games. The theme for this year's Safer Internet Day is "connecting generations and educating each other." So, let's get parents and grandparents involved to help make a Moshi board game! Check out Spookygirl and Spookygirl's mum making their Moshi board game.

Sweet! That game looks super fun! Wanna know how you could have YOUR board game featured right here at The Daily Growl? Find out below:

* Ask your parent's permission, and if they say it's ok, work together with them to create your own Moshi board game. Your parent can help you decide on rules, and what your game might look like.

* Use poster board, markers, and other art supplies to construct your game.

* Snap a photo of your board game and save it as your owner name. For example, Bootsy's image would be called bootsy.jpg.

* Email your photo to moshistuff@moshimonsters.com and be sure to include the rules to your game, and the name of your Moshi board game.

* We'll select our favourites to show off right here at The Daily Growl!

* The deadline is 13th February.

What are you waiting for? Why not get started right away? Ready, set, GOOOO! Oh yeah, and comment on THIS blog with your best safer internet tips, and a few of you will get some Random Rox. Yesterday's Random Rox go to tommy2shoes05, gggggggg2010, and radishearrings1.

P.S. Remember Ruby Scribblez? Well she just sent me a duvet to wrap up in & told me that this weekend only, it will come with tons of Rox! Take a quick look by visiting the online shop.
